I was wearing this shirt today and my brother tells me, "You're such a nerd."

I just looked at him and said, "You're just noticing this now? Really?" because it's not like I've ever tried to hide my nerdish-ness before, you know. I mean, with all of my everything. Seriously though. He has a Thundercats t-shirt, he's as much of a nerd as I am.

Augh. Being asked to babysit my nieces at my brother's house and then being told "Expect the repair guy to show up some time today, okay, thanks! :DDDDDDDDDD" is not cool, okay? Just. Not okay at all.

I'm like. I realize you are familiar with this guy, but I have never met him. It makes me especially anxious when I am watching my nieces because, you know, I don't know what this guy looks like.

What if I accidentally let a murderer inside, what then, oh my God, why do you always do this to me? /o\

So. My sister-in-law wants me over to watch my nieces at 1:30pm today, and yet she has to be at work at 1pm. (Clearly she has discovered the secrets of time travel and/or has a time-turner.)

Will report back later...or earlier? I don't really know how time travel works, other than you can't do it until you hit 88mph.

Today was the first time I was scheduled to work on the weekend for a really long time. I kept thinking it was Monday which made for all kinds of awkward regarding everything. Oh, brain. *pats*

Also, I painted my nails? They are a horrendously bright shade of red as what is terrifying. I am most pleased. :D

P.S. I don't know what I'm doing anymore. *hands*

Do they ever say where Avatar: The Last Airbender takes place? I mean, is it Earth, or some other world? If they don't say, I'm just going to go right on believing that it takes place on Earth far, far into the future either after some kind of apocalyptic disaster in which technology was rendered useless and magic moved to the forefront - and/or some kind of nuclear fallout - and where the Earth has recovered and civilization is rebuilding. Mostly because the animals, okay, the animals. I kind of love them lots.

You guys. Mp3 players. What kind do you have? I have a Creative Zen X-Fi I got a few years ago, but I'm thinking about upgrading somewhere along the line to one with larger memory. Plus, there are things about it that aggravate me. (I'm horribly lazy when it comes to deleting music I don't listen to anymore, and also I have a ton of music I might want to listen to at some point so I absolutely must have it on my mp3 player.)

I was looking at the iPod Touch, but gah, so expensive, and I don't think it has a radio feature? (Plus I am not the biggest fan of Apple products, sorry. Apple kind of makes me irrationally angry. *hands*)

While babysitting my nieces today I was forced to resort to drastic measures to quell the masses. I used medieval times as inspiration - the practice of affixing the head of one's enemy on a pike, to be precise - to serve as a warning to the imprisoned gummi bears. I feel that while extreme, it served its purpose as there were no further incidents from either the imprisoned gummi bears or my nieces.
